SVEC Council Meeting April 26 (6pm) at Ozen:
Carbon Nanotube (CNT)LiFePo4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) Batteries

Attendance is free but please RSVP (see below)

Please attend Wednesday April 26 (6pm) meeting of the Silicon Valley Engineering Council. It will be held at Ozen Engineering, 1210 E Arques Ave #207 Sunnyvale, CA 94085. This is a full council meeting so member organizations please send a delegate to represent your group. We will be planning our booth at the Maker Faire coming up May 19-21 for which SME will be bringing a laser cutter and we need a fun design to cut items to hand out a the booth. Any suggestions appreciated! Also we’ll be opening nominations for the June SVEC election. And organizations are welcome to make announcements about their upcoming events. We’ll also have a short talk by Magi Scitech, Inc. on Carbon Nanotube (CNT) LiFePo4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) Batteries.

Abstract: Magi Scitech, Inc. will be introducing our revolutionary, new Carbon Nanotube (CNT) LiFePo4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) Batteries for Electric Vehicles, UAVs, and Solar Grid Energy Storage and comparing them to the existing battery technology in the current market. With the addition of our Carbon Nanotube technology, our batteries have much faster charging and discharging capabilities, much longer life cycles, and can operate at much greater temperature variations than conventional Lithium Ion batteries. They are also non-flammable and non-explosive, and thus much safer. In addition, we will be talking about our new Graphene Film Heat Sink for thermal dissipation. This film enables a significant improvement in heat dissipation for Routers, Smartphones, Tablets, printed circuit boards, flexible circuits, LED lights, sound amplifiers, and many other electronic devices that emit heat.
